The company has announced that it has managed to ship 10 million units of the P30 series in just 85 days since its launch. That’s over 2 months faster than the P20 series and even faster than the Mate 20 series launched last year. Huawei also managed to ship 100 million smartphones in 2019 at the end of May, which is again notably faster when compared to last year....

Recently we saw an Honor 50 leak with a dual-ring design. Another leak confirms that the Honor 50 will come with a dual ring camera design with one of the rings housing two sensors, including a periscope lens. We have already seen how the dual ring design would look like on the Honor 50. That said, we are not sure whether the latest leak is a real image or a CAD-generated render based on earlier rumors....

LG today announced a new Quad HD+ display which it confirmed will be used on the LG G6 debuting next month. The 5.7-inch display has a aspect ratio of 18:9 and features a resolution of 1440 x 2880, with a pixel density of 564ppi. The higher resolution and wider 18:9 aspect ratio will allow for a more immersive experience as per LG. It also says that this aspect ratio is optimised for multi-tasking while using dual-screen functions....

LG today announced its new Android running handset — the Wine Smart. The handset is unlike any other Android device released in the last few years, and sports the now forgotten clamshell form factor. The flip phone sports a puny 3.5-inch LCD display with a absurdly low HVGA (320 x 480) resolution. Other specs of the device are pretty standard and include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 1700mAh battery....

Like with other budget devices launched by Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro also feature an IR blaster at the top.
