An Android 4.4.3 firmware with Sense 6.0 has made its way to the Internet for the HTC One M7 in the form of a custom ROM, just a couple of weeks after Google rolled out the update for its Nexus and Google Play edition devices. The leak comes courtesy of LlabTooFeR, a renowned developer in the HTC community and known for his MaximusHD series of ROM. The 4.4.3 based firmware for HTC’s last year flagship brings a number of improvements in the camera, battery and audio department....

At the end of this week, HTC has a “For U” event planned, where it’s expected the company will unveil a brand new flagship. That high-end smartphone is said to be codenamed “Ocean Note,” and, thanks to images recently published on the social network Weibo, what is said to be the first look at the handset has been revealed. Huawei develops its own K3V2 quad-core processor The real shocker from Huawei was not the announcement of Ascend D quad, but rather the company’s very own K3V2 quad-core processor, which is clocked as high as 1.5GHz and has 16 core GPS that offers 2X performance. According to a report by Digitimes, the next generation iPhone will leave the current aluminum cover and adopt a new design with reinforced glass panels in both the back and front. This would be accompanied by a stainless steel bezel, which would help make the device much more robust and reduce its costs and manufacturing time. The iPhone 4 also used a stainless steel frame, although this time the source says that a casting process would be used to make it much more subtle to the touch....

We have already seen the Moto 360 in leaked images and even in an official hands-on video from Motorola itself. However, up until now, it was not clear as to how the Moto 360 would be charged especially since it does not come with any kind of physical charging port. Thanks to today’s leaked images of the smartwatch from Italy though, this mystery has finally been solved. The leaked images give us a clear look at the 360’s wireless inductive based charging cradle, which is nothing like we have ever seen before....

LG has just published a press release confirming that their new flagship phone, the G2, will be launching in the United States and Germany this month. They don’t give any specific dates, they don’t mention any prices, and they don’t name any operators. When Windows 10 was first released, Microsoft announced a free upgradation offer to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users. The offer allowed all Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. That offer ended in 2017, but it looks like a method still existed to upgrade older computers to Windows 10 for free in 2020. You can now use the Media Creation Tool of Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10 for free....

At its IFA press conference in Berlin, HTC has just announced its latest Desire handset with an octa-core 64-bit chip from Qualcomm — the Desire 820. The Desire 820 is the first handset to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chip — which consists of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz for a perfect balance between power and battery life. Besides the bump in processing power, the handset is similar to the Desire 816 in most ways....

Today, it has already started rolling out the update to One M8 owners in the Nordic region of the world.
